Back in the 70’s, once the mines were closed, La Thuile went through a period of change and began its new identity as a renown tourist destination.
Grandfather Albino had the idea of opening a business to ensure work possibilities for his three children. Since then the family has continued to invest in the business with great effort and dedication.
Silvana takes care of the reception and dining room.
Sandra follows the staff, kitchen, the preparation of the meals with special attention tocommitment, quality and cleanliness.
And Paola, together with her husband Ivano back in the ‘80’s took on the Refuge “Lo Riondet”
.. And us, the third generation grandchildren, have been introduced into the family running of this “all female” business.
